This season, Necromancer has seen the rise of a powerful build that tops the leaderboards. Not only is it applicable to all content and consistently ranks high, but it’s also easy to learn and fun to play, making it perfect for a final push at the end of the season.
This is a build entirely centered around golems, using Blood Golems to enhance their active abilities.
IGGM will now explain the core mechanics of this build, the required gear, aspects, skill tree, mercenaries, and Paragon Board, as well as practical gameplay.
Core Mechanics
This build is a pure golem system, foregoing other conventional summons to focus entirely on stacking Blood Golem damage and cooldown reduction.
The key is using Aspect of Fel Gluttony, combined with golem cooldown reduction, Decrepify, and Hulking Aspect, to reset most or all of the cooldowns after each golem active ability cast, resulting in an effect of infinite damage and incredibly powerful mob clearing capabilities.
Gear and Aspects
Below are the gear and aspects required for the build:
Helmet
Heir of Perdition is the first choice, paired with the Igni rune. Horrid Decrepify effect triggers without needing to place it in the skill bar. If you don’t have this piece, don’t worry, you can directly choose its ancestral version.
If you’re a beginner, you can choose the starting gear. However, you must consider that the starting gear isn’t very effective and may not meet your needs. Therefore, a better option is to directly buy Diablo 4 items you need from IGGM. Whether you need crafting or upgrade materials, or ready-made unique items, we can meet your needs!
The gear for sale on IGGM not only offers cheap prices but also uses a face-to-face delivery method. The transaction process is highly standardized, widely verified, and very safe and reliable.

Chestplate
Choose Shroud of False Death, which provides massive damage and all attribute bonuses. Pair it with Ahu and Qax rune combinations to further enhance output. Combined with Corpse Tendrils to gather enemies and unleash a burst, it can frequently trigger Lucky Strike and rune effects.
Gloves
Equip Aspect of Reanimation, which provides additional damage while the golem is alive, while also stacking cooldown reduction, intelligence, and golem damage stats.
Pants
Use Blood Moon Breeches for a high skill level bonus and extra Decrepify triggers. Specializing in Abhorrent Decrepify grants significant cooldown reduction.
Boots
Enchant with Hulking Aspect to ensure the golem’s active skill cooldowns are fully refreshed and to generate corpses, synergizing with Aspect of Fel Gluttony.
Weapon
Main hand: Grave Bloom significantly increases golem damage, attack speed, and Golem Mastery level. Prioritize increasing the second attack chance to 100%.
Off-hand: Finality provides a 5% damage increase per skill level. At least one primary resource recovery stat is essential to offset the cost of Ahu and Qax runes.
Amulet
Aspect of Fel Gluttony refreshes golem cooldowns and provides a massive damage increase. In Season 12, this power supports the golem’s second attack synergy. Don’t forget to prioritize skill level stats; Hellbent Commander is the best damage-boosting passive.
Rings
For rings, you’ll need at least one with the Golem Mastery active skill cooldown reduction affix. Of course, if you have more Diablo 4 gold for sale, you can invest in other cooldown reduction affixes to minimize the Golem ultimate skill cooldown.
Also, you can equip Aspect of Grasping Veins and Aspect of the Great Feast to supplement damage. IGGM recommends choosing Aspects that prioritize Intelligence, Maximum Life, Critical Strike Chance, and Attack Speed.
Skill Tree
First, choose Decompose and Reap. The latter provides an attack speed bonus and should be used in conjunction with dark skills to trigger Reaper’s Pursuit passive as much as possible.
Take Hewed Flesh to ensure corpse generation. Bone Prison is used to trigger Kalan’s Edict; canceling it immediately after casting grants a 20% damage increase.
Max out Decrepify and select Abhorrent Decrepify for auto-cast cooldown reduction.
Necrotic Carapace provides enhancement effects, and Corpse Tendrils is a core crowd control skill, allowing for one-shot kills.
Ultimate skill Soulrift, a Dark Ability that triggers Reaper’s Pursuit, rapidly regenerates Essence, provides consistent vulnerability, and increases global damage.
Key Passives: Finality, Golem Mastery (core must be maxed), Memento Mori, Hellbent Commander, Inspiring Leader, Kalan’s Edict.
Mercenaries
-
Mercenaries: Subo, providing vision, movement speed, and a 25% damage increase;
-
Reinforcements: Raheir, set to automatically cast when damaged, greatly improving survivability and margin for error.
Paragon Board
-
Start with Eliminator glyph on the initial panel.
-
Additionally, Hulking Monstrosity and Deadraiser glyphs significantly increase damage.
-
Insert Golem glyph into Frailty to enhance output.
-
Insert Corporeal glyph into Flesh-Eater node.
-
Cult Leader is the core damage-boosting node; ensure attack speed is sufficient.
-
Put all remaining points into Essence node for substantial critical hit damage.
Gameplay
In summary, this Blood Golem Necromancer build is easy to pick up but difficult to master, though perfectly adequate for the early stages of progression. If you want to use this build to tackle higher tiers of the Pit and Tower, you can further optimize your gear and skill tree based on your Diablo 4 gold reserves, but the core concept remains the same.
The most important aspect is using Corpse Tendrils to gather enemies. Once enough enemies are gathered, activate Soulrift.
Next, you can cast Bone Prison and immediately cancel to trigger Kalan’s Edict for increased damage, then spam the golem’s active abilities.
When enemies are low on health, use Reap to attack them for the attack speed bonus, then continue using the golem. However, you need to wait approximately 3 seconds between each Bone Prison attack to receive the extra damage bonus from Kalan’s Edict.
If you simply want to easily complete dungeons, then no complicated operations are needed; just follow the practical guide above to clear all the regular content. Even aiming for a higher ranking on the leaderboard at the end of the season is an excellent experience. IGGM hopes this Blood Golem Necromancer guide is helpful to you, and best of luck!
